beautiful Fox Theatre in downtown Detroit, is looking for an experienced
and highly motivated Quality Assurance Food Technologist.
As a top international pizza chain in business for nearly 50 years and as a
family owned company, Little Caesars takes an active interest in the

As a QA Food Technologist you will
be responsible for evaluating potential and existing suppliers on their
ability to consistently produce products to Little Caesars specifications
and to achieve desired volume; writing specifications for new products
and/or make changes to existing specifications as required; establishing
and maintaining strong working relationships with franchise owners,
suppliers, and distributors; performing routine analysis and utilizing lab
data analysis to make recommendations for improvements to suppliers in
order to manage critical product lines; and troubleshoots and
resolves supplier issues which jeopardize the continuous supply of approved
Little Caesars products.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree
in Food Science, Chemistry, or Microbiology; two years of QA work
experience in the food industry; laboratory instrumentation skills;
knowledge of OSHA lab standards; knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
as defined by the FDA; the ability to communicate effectively with
franchisees and vendors; bi-lingual language skills (Spanish and English);excellent
problem solving, decision making, and interpersonal skills; and the ability
to travel up to 40% (domestic and international travel required).
