Food R&D Technologist - Hamilton, OH
Our client has an urgent need for a food scientist to assist
in the development of new food products. We are looking for junior and
mid-level candidates to work in the R&D department of an innovative
food manufacturing company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate
and develop new products by mixing different proportions of
ingredients to match marketing, business and quality requirements
- Modify
recipes as required to meet specifications
- Analytical
testing of food products, including pH, brix, viscosity, acid content
- Sensory
testing of food samples
- Detailed
documentation of data
Required skills:
- Diploma
or B. Sc. in Food Science or related discipline
- 1-3
years experience working in the food industry
- Experience
working in product development
- Laboratory
experience testing food products
