Minimum
B.S. Degree or 3 years of food industrial experience in Operations,
Quality and/or Sanitation roles.
Excellent
knowledge of FDA, USDA, AIB and HACCP.
Excellent
knowledge of sanitary design, sanitation and pest management in food
processing.
Excellent interpersonal
and communication skills (written and verbal).
Excellent
knowledge of food manufacturing processes.
Excellent
understanding of food safety.
Excellent
knowledge in using a full range of statistical and analytical tools
and fundamentals.
Excellent
relationship building skills.
Excellent
understanding of microbiological organisms and stored product insects
and their impact on process design, sanitary design and sanitation.
Good
experience with customer, 3rd party audit and government regulatory
requirements in the processing of food.
Physical Requirements:
Incumbent must have the ability to effectively perform all of
the following physical demands without assistance:
Sit up to
8 hours a day regularly.
Stand and/or
walk up to 8 hours a day in a plant setting.
Lift up to
25 pounds occasionally (up to 40 pounds infrequently).
Regular
exposure to a manufacturing environment with loud noises, strong
fumes, fluctuating temperatures, and also slippery conditions.
Drive a
company or rental vehicle for up to 8 hours as needed.
Use of
tools, equipment, and machinery as needed.
Bending,
stooping, climbing multiple flights of stairs.
Ascending
and descending ladders both vertical and folding.
Occasional
weekend, and off-shift work.
