Scientist/Meat Science – Overland Park, KS
Aerotek Scientific, a national leader
is scientific staffing, is currently partnering with a premier Food Science
Company in the Kansas City area seeking qualified candidates for a Meat
Scientist.
Responsibilities:
- Project based research - Product development and applications of new
products to customer specifications.
- Perform experimental activities in a laboratory setting, including
sourcing required ingredients and necessary equipment
- Participate in project work conducting lab experiments and trials,
customer in-house visits and provide presentations to customers and
industry functions
- Perform calibration and maintenance of equipment and maintain cleanliness
of laboratory.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Food Science, Meat Science, or related field.
(Advanced Degree preferred)
- Strong communication skills are a must.
