ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF FOOD SAFETY SUPERVISOR:
Implement the corporate
environmental management system. Collect environmental data for use in
determining root-causes of compliance problems and pollution prevention
opportunities. Implement proactive corrective steps.
Ensure facility remains in
compliance with environmental and safety regulatory requirements (such as
permits, waste disposal, State and Federal OSHA).
Coordinate a food safety program to
include, facility audits of processing records, lead and manage a weekly
food safety audit using a cross functional team, and assist in the
training of these programs.
Assist in the management of
required documentation pertaining to all aspects of food safety quality
Participate in the plants quality
program, audits of processing records and quality checks.
Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR FOOD SAFETY SUPERVISOR:
Associates Degree in Science,
Business or in other related field required.
Ability to analyze data, convey
findings and implement action plans.
Strong interpersonal skills and
Working knowledge and experience
with LEAN manufacturing techniques preferred.
Excellent verbal and written
Strong problem solving skills.
Excellent knowledge of PC applications.
