As a Sample Coordinator II with in our Nutritional Chemistry and
Food Safety you will perform a variety of sample accession
responsibilities in compliance with appropriate Standard Operating
Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities and Opportunities:
· Perform any
combination of sample accession tasks, including opening, entering,
tracking, labeling, shipping and review.
· Review sample
inventory against samples to ensure accuracy.
· Communicate
discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
· Solve
problems independently, contacting internal or external clients for
clarification as needed.
· Communicate
confirmation of sample receipt to clients, if appropriate.
· Handle
internal and external customer inquiries and requests.
· Distribute
sample information and paperwork.
· Responsible
for entry and accuracy of sample tracking systems.
· Introduce and
independently develop improvement ideas for the group.
· Works with
the customer service coordinators to establish customer service procedures,
as appropriate.
· Assist in
training new employees, working with and directing less experienced
staff, and prioritizing workloads and/or special projects on a daily
basis.
· Take action
for the department when additional responsibilities and opportunities are
presented.
