My client, a national food manufacturer, is looking to add a talented Food Technologist to their R&D Lab in Chicago. To be considered for this role one must possess the following experience, education and skill set.

         Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Meat Science, Microbiology, Chemistry or related Science field.

         A minimum of 3 years of R&D experience in the meat segment.

         Strong organization and interpersonal skills.

         Excellent communication, both verbal and written and project management skills.

         Knowledge of food processing procedures.

Individual must live in the greater Chicago area, as there is no relocation available for this opportunity.


The Food Technologist will report into the R& D Leader for the organization. the role will work directly with formulation, packaging and engineering departments on development plans.  Provide assistance with the development of product and costing specs related to new products and re-formulation of existing products.

The Food Technologist role is a great opportunity for an individual that is looking to jump start their career.
