The Pepsi-Cola Technical Manager, Engineering will lead and coordinates cross
functional teams to develop and execute plans and activities required to
successfully launch new Foodservice products on a world-wide basis.
Leverages technical, project management and organizational expertise to
develop business and project plans required for large-scale new product
introductions. Leads, manages and mentors a diverse set of resources in
overcoming technical and business hurdles.
- Manages Cross-Functional project teams to successfully commercialize and
launch new Foodservice beverages (carbonated and non-carbonated) into Pepsi
bottling plants, Contract Bottling, Franchise Bottling, and Concentrate
? Develop process specifications that insure manufacturing sustainability and
? Manage and execute all required plant trials from pilot to scale-up and
? Effectively work with cross functional team
- Influence Foodservice work plan: prioritization, manage expectations
on timing & resources
- Leverage Microsoft Office Project for critical path communication
- Identify roles & responsibilities to drive accountability (RACI Charts)
- Conduct appropriate project risk assessments and define a mitigation plan
- Develop knowledge of fountain equipment, product application and customer
- Leverage knowledge to develop robust commercialization plans
- Lead project team meetings with clear concise communication and timely
Education & Experience:
? BS in Chemical, Mechanical or Food Science Engineering. Master?s degree recommended in a complimentary discipline
or equivalent expertise.
? Proven track record of 10 plus years of experience in project management,
commercialization and process engineering and development
Experience with Foodservice product applications: food or beverage
formulations and manufacturing operations
Experience with juice and juice base beverage manufacturing a plus
Other Job Requirements:
This position will require flexibility in working hours to set-up and
complete scale?ups, plant trials, audits or plant
startups that may extend past typical working hours.
Field Travel will be required (international). Estimated 35%.
