The
primary purpose of this position is to:
Assist the
Corporate Food Safety Manager along with the Sr. Dir Food Safety with
the administering of the Food Safety Product Recall and 888 HOLD
programs. Provide coordination and administrative support of corporate
food safety product recall and HOLD activities, including querying of
multiple system databases, assessment of data, assessment of risk,
entry and quantification of warehouse physical inventory, and
reconciliation of total product quantities against deliveries. Additional responsibilities to
include supporting data querying of warehouse 888 HOLD inventories into
actionable reports.
Also assist the
Corporate Food Safety Manager by monitoring in-bound communications
from regulatory, vendor, C&S buyers, and external services as they
relate to Product Recalls. Query
system (WICS/EXE) databases for possible product matches, determine
exposure, recommend risk, quantify warehouse results, maintain daily
logs, validate product disposition and determine level of overall
effectiveness. Act as back-up
support for Corporate Food Safety Manager.
Assist the
Corporate Food Safety Manager through data review of corporate 888 HOLD
program, determination of major areas of loss by warehouse and generate
recommendations on means of correction. Back-up Food Safety Project
Coordinator.Special projects: Preparing and distributing documents,
reports and presentation to department staff and required
inter-department liaisons.Generate and maintain department database for
all project/personal/vacation time as required. Sensitivity to urgency
of communication with Corporate leadership. Ability to learn database
applications, strong organizational and multitasking skills.
POSITION
REQUIREMENTS:
Associates degree
3-5 years
experience in corporate level coordinator position
Strong in
Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
Proficiency in Excel a must-have.
Database
Management and Microsoft Access a plus.
