White Castle Food Products incorporated in 1986 and prepares the #1 selling cheeseburgers in the country.Our sandwiches are available across the US through Grocery stores, Club stores, Convenience stores, Food service operations and Vending machines.We currently have two production facilities and with a third plant under construction in Vandalia, Ohio.


Manage the Quality and Sanitation Departments to assure finished products meet White Castle System, Inc., USDA, and FDA specifications.Monitor the condition of raw material and finished products.Maintain and improve the quality control program at WCD LLC.Serve as Lead SQF Practitioner.


Overview Duties and Responsibilities

         Select, supervise, train, and guide Quality and Sanitation departments with regards to Quality, Food Safety, HACCP, Food Defense, SQF, and GMP requirements.

         Coordinate, develop, and supervise policies and procedures relating to food safety and quality including: GMPís, HACCP, SSOPís, and SQF.Lead the HACCP team.

         Perform pre-operational and operational facility inspections to identify problems and offer practical solutions to those problems.

         Perform raw material and finished product inspections and analyses.Train Quality team members to perform these functions.

         Maintain and procure inventory of quality, sanitation, safety, and production supplies.

         Responsible for all inspection reports and proper filing.



Education, Skills and Experience Requirements

         Preferred candidate will have a Bachelorís degree in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology or related field.

         General knowledge of statistical process control, bacterial control, and sanitation methods is required.

         5-7 yrs. Supervisory experience preferred.

         Excellent management and human relations skills are a must.

         5-7 yrs. experience in production methods and root cause analysis preferred.

         Must have strong knowledge of SQF, FDA, and USDA Regulations and Directives, HACCP, SOPís, and GMPís.

         Self-starter and able to anticipate work requirements.

         Flexible to change schedule and hours of work to meet the needs of the plant.

         Must be able to be on feet for extended periods of time and lift, push or pull 75 pounds with regularity.
