Quality Assurance Supervisor – Pacoima , CA
Requirements:
-Must have a 4 year degree in related field; Food Science, Biology, Chemistry,
pharmaceutical etc.
-At least 5 years of supervisory experience in
flavor, fragrance or cosmetic or other related industry lab.
-Must be an effective communicator who enjoys working in a team setting.
-Must be proficient with Microsoft applications,
Word, Excel (spreadsheet), Outlook, Access etc.
-Must have strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
-Must have experience improving the reliability and accuracy of test
methods
-Must have experience establishing, developing, implementing and maintaining
quality systems/programs, SOP's, test procedures etc.
-Must have experience implementing GMP GLP standards in laboratory environment
-Must have basic laboratory experience, testing, inspections, certificate of
analysis, establishing product specifications
-Must have experience implementing safety and sanitation programs
-Must be able to host and be the point of contact for FDA regulatory agencies
among others.

Duties:
This position is responsible for ensuring that the following tasks are
accomplished as needed
" raw material and intermediate and finished product inspections
" compliance of production and QC with SOPs
" writes, maintains and upgrades product specifications
" writes, maintains and upgrades QA/QC/Operating/Sanitation SOPs
" obtains and submits certificates of analysis
" sensory evaluations and analysis of results
" GMP and sanitation inspections
