making quality food products, is seeking a Food Technician to join our Research
& Development team. This position will work in our state of the art facility
located at our Corporate office in
This position supports the food technologist/scientist in a given business unit. Responsible for ingredient knowledge, scaling and finished product preparation and evaluation. This position will also perform routine raw material lab analysis and baking.
Key Attributes and Skills:
Strong written, oral, and facilitation skills
Ability to evaluate and communicate risk
Proficient in use of standard Consumer and Commercial food preparation equipment.
Knowledge and familiarity with computer programs to access information, data analysis and problem solving to support projects as required. Applications include enterprise wide product, Infinity, Raw Material Workplace, Microsoft Word and Excel.
Use of standard laboratory equipment and good lab practices are required. Proficient in standard test protocol in a given technical area. Data analysis
Excellent project and time management skills. Self directed with minimal supervision.
Keen eye for attention to detail and precision of test protocol
Associates/Technical Degree in Food Science/Culinary Program. Three years progressive work experience in a food laboratory or commercial kitchen. Baking knowledge a plus.
