The Research and Development Food Lab Intern is responsibility for assisting in food lab activities. Specific responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities Include:
Assist in new product development

Assist in product improvement

Assist in new ingredient testing

Assist in formal documentation

Assisting in product scale-up

Conduct benchtop chemical and physical analyses, organoleptic analysis, etc.

Education, Experience, and Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of college completed in food science, chemistry, microbiology

Strong math skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in team environment

Strong computer and analytical skills, proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Enthusiastic, positive, dependable worker

Culinary training a plus

Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
