Systems Manager

DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Auditing
Quality related training
Facilitating third party audits and scheduling
Product evaluation and dispositions
Sanitation verification
HACCP and food safety implementation
Maintenance and implementation of plant quality systems policies
and
procedures
Communication with Divisional Management and Plant Management
Maintaining and implementing all the plant level procedures that
affect the
quality or safety of the products we produce
Secondarily responsible for the procedures in other departments and
the
laboratory
Specific Roles of the Quality Systems Manager include:
Product recall coordinator
Customer complaint coordinator
Regulatory inspections facilitator
and compliance auditor
Customer contact
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in related field
Knowledge of HACCP programs and documentation
Food manufacturing QC experience
Strong organizational skills
Excellent PC (Microsoft Office) required
SAP experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and have flexible work hours
Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary
Communication with upper management, regulatory inspectors and
customers is frequent
