Pharmaceutical industry concern seeking a Formulations Chemist to
support Product Development in developing liquid nutritional
supplements. This position involves close customer contact and
formulating work plans/conducting problem solving on complex
chemical development / production projects.
Qualifications:
- Must be able
to balance commercial opportunity with scientific expertise in
all aspects of formulation
- Understanding
of how products work together to form unique product offerenings
that bring value to the consumer
- Prefer
experience in formulating in liquids
Requires:
- Minimum of 3
years experience in formulation in the dietary supplement
industry
- Background
experience in vitamins, herbal products, botanicals and minerals
and as well as an understanding of how these products work
together
- Working
knowledge of GMPs, FDA and other reguations pertaining to the
dietary supplement industries
- Bachelors (or
higher degree) in Chemistry, Food Science, Natural Medicine or
similar discipline
- Good
communication skills.
