Do you have excellent attention to detail? A strong background in Quality Control? Are you familiar with the food/produce/beverage industry?

Lancaster Foods is looking for a highly enthusiastic, self-motivated Food Safety Specialiat who will be a core member of the team. This position will assist the Food Safety manager with the day to day operations in Food Safety and quality assurance. We are looking for a dedicated problem solver who has experience verifying quality checks, auditing GMP compliance and the ability to enforce the food safety program in an evolving and demanding environment.

Duties:

Qualifications:

·         HS Diploma or equivalent.

·         A minimum 1-3 years of quality control experience in food/produce/beverage industry.

·         Must be detailed oriented and have excellent follow up skills. Strong computer skills to include but not limited to MS Office.

·         Familiarity with HACCP, GMP's, and food regulations.

·         Bilingual [English/Spanish] desired but not required

·         Must demonstrate basic math skills.

·         Must demonstrate proficiency to read English.

·         Ability to operate a variety of Powered Industrial Equipment.

·         Obtain Powered Industrial Certification for lift trucks, pallet jacks and man lifts.

·         Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 75 pounds.

·         Must have own transportation.

·         Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include holidays and weekends.
