Description: 
Major Food Manufacturer in the Chicago metropolitan area, is seeking a motivated individual  to join their Nutrition Research team activities.  Candidate needs to be availably immediately to work flexible hours, 3 to 5 days a week.  

Main Responsibilities:

- Define globally applicable methods for analytical parameters and ensure that all

  referenced methods are validated and meet requirements for manufacturers analytical methods

- Apply strong lab/technical skills in both analytical chemistry and physics

    (mainly texture/rheology)

- Comfortable preparing reagent and solution in accordance with analytical methods

Requirements

Requirements:

* BS degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Pharmacy, or equivalent 

* Experience in method validation

* Strong communication and presentation skills

* Comfortable working in multiple applications at once 

* Excellent computer/software skills 

Salary commensurate with experience
