Job Summary
Support technical development (recipe, process, pack, specs) of FS NA
regional category product working and interacting with project team to
deliver projects OTIF .Works and interact with culinary and supply chain
teams supporting the business need. Also, directs lab technician in support
of lab activity and project support.
Responsibilities
•Overseeing lab maintenance and supervising lab technician activities.
•Lead the cross function key interactions such as SC RM Emergency and QIS
initiatives.
•Support technical local and regional aspects of projects.
•Support system related activities such as Interspec,
Provision, Pelican, and etc.
•Support technical & system responsibility and training for the R&D
department.
•Translate the local & regional product design capability into inputs
for category business need.
•Execution and supervision of routine / standard trials at lab, pilot
plant, or full scale including comprehensive testing protocols for critical
aspects of performance.
•Development of prototypes for validation/proof of principle.
•Interface w/ packaging technologist for new product designs.
•Lead department activities such as lab safety and fire safety.
•Serve as project manager/TPL as needed.
•Support the W1C & TPL for FS local and regional Projects.
•Executing agreed R&D activity at lab scale – developing prototypes,
shelf life testing, and analytical testing.
•Support R&D activity relate to scale-up & manufacturing projects.
•Support the W1C & TPL’s technical & system responsibility (draft
technical specs using provision and Interspec).
•Lead product design for rejuvenation, cost savings, and innovation
projects.
Key Requirements
BS in Food Science or equivalent degree with 3-5 years
experience, strong business acumen.
