Description:

 

Application development and technical service to promote savory and dairy flavors.

 

Responsibilities:

         Formulate food applications which successfully promote the sales growth of savory and dairy flavors.

         Leverage CFS flavor technologies with the Cargill ingredient portfolio to develop innovative health and wellness solutions for target accounts.

         Develop application prototypes which are equal to or better than market products.

         In response to specific project briefs select flavors which meet the performance, cost, nutrition, and regulatory objectives of customer and target market segments.

         Collaborate with marketing to develop value propositions for savory and dairy flavors.

         Act as the technical service lead for focused application segments and target accounts.

         Keep abreast of new technical advances and product launches within target application segments and initiate product evaluations and proactive product  development in response to these new benchmarks.

         Make technical presentations and promote finished applications at key accounts.

         Proactively collaborate with other technical teams within Cargill's Food Ingredient and Systems Platform to bring value to FIS customers.

Qualifications

 

Requirements:

         MS Food Science

         Minimum 2 years experience in food product development.

         Have an understanding of food ingredient and flavor systems and how to combine these to create distinctive value.

         Must be able to make presentations in front of customers.

         Ability to work with customers in their plants and troubleshoot problems.
