Requirements
and Qualifications
- Must have a College degree in
Food Science or equivalent. Or Quality Assurance equivalent experience
- Required experienced in Food
Manufacturing
- Required experience in USDA,
FDA or CA Dept. of Food & Agriculture
- Experience in Kosher, Organic
and AIB program a plus
- Must have excellent
communication skills
- Must be able to communicate
in English and Spanish
Must have above
average math skills.
Must
be reliable and prompt with all work activities and duties.
Shall
be neat, tidy, organized and energetic.
Must
be able to formulate, blend and process products for Research &
Development projects
Must
possess the ability to keep accurate daily, weekly etc., production and QA
reports.
Must
be able to manage company confidential information
Duties
and responsibilities
- Shall be able back up the
department manager in all QA activities
- Shall be able to manage raw
materials policies.
- Shall be able to manage Metal
Detection Program.
- Shall be able to manage
Weight Control Program.
- Shall be able to manage GMP
Program.
- Shall assist managing and
controlling R & D, Testing, Recipes and Product Formulations.
- Shall verify and enforce
Product Specifications
- Shall manage outside lab
samples program
- Shall manage “Hold and
Release Program”.
- Shall assist with Pest
Control Program.
- Shall be able to manage
Quality Control/Assurance Processes and Procedures.
- Shall be capable of
performing Plant Audits.
Compensation:
Depends upon experience.
