Job Title: Food Scientist
Location: Salisbury, NC or Scarborough, ME
Primary Function:
Responsible for understanding consumer needs /
desires and create products to fill. Measured against all products that
have a specification created, increase in innovation, and unique product
development to meet consumer expectations.
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct consumer panel testing
- Lead innovation for private brand
- Develop product specifications for all private
brand products
- Support QA in trouble-shooting and issue
resolution
- Partner with suppliers in product development
- Visit suppliers plants to understand manufacturing
and quality capabilities and qualify vendors
