Applications Food Technologist
A. M. Todd, a
privately-owned, global manufacturer of natural and organic flavor
ingredients and flavor systems located in West Chester, OH, is seeking a
Beverage Applications Food Technologist. Position responsibilities
include supporting the business development process and reviewing incoming
opportunities, setting goals, and monitoring same to assure the R&D
Department meets related commitments. This position works within a
Flavor Applications Team.
Bachelors Degree in Food
Science or related field required. Advanced Degree preferred. 5
to 7 years of industrial experience, depending on education, in beverage
product development (Food R&D and/or Flavor Creation).
Experience with external contacts (i.e., Customers, Regulatory Officers,
Material and Equipment Suppliers and Vendors)
Experience with Product Applications Equipment typical of a food products
laboratory, kitchen environment and pilot plant.
Experience in formulations, laboratory, sensory analysis techniques/methods
Culinary experience and in-depth knowledge of the organic ingredient
and flavor business are added benefits
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience directly interfacing with customers, suppliers, industry
contacts and staff from many internal company departments
Established relationships and organizational understanding of the Organic
Must be able to travel within the US and internationally to visit
customers, international affiliate laboratories, and the headquarters in
