external technology partners. The candidate must be able to apply deep
technology knowledge of the Meals & Desserts categories and lead the
translation of the business strategies into technology needs such that
roadmap's fully integrate knowledge sharing/collaboration, open sourcing of
innovation, competitive landscape and intellectual property strategies into
a comprehensive technology roadmap. The candidate will be responsible to
lead resources to identify and establish high value, longer term strategic
innovation partnerships with key partners. They will identify and deliver
the opportunities to work more deeply in relationships where the other
parties invest their own resources for mutual long term gain. The candidate
will cultivate relationships external to Kraft with suppliers, acadamia, and industry for the identification of and
investment in emerging technologies and IP strategy development. The
candidate will also need collaborate across BU’s for best practice sharing
in Open Innovation tools and identification of synergist opportunities for
external partnership. The candidate will be an integral member of the
technical community providing coaching and mentorship to the development of
the BU’s technical talent. This opportunity provides the candidate an
excellent opportunity to truly shape and influence Meals & Desserts BU
future in identifying external partnerships to solve technical challenges
in delivering business strategies.
Lead multidisciplinary teams and process for
identifying & implementing new Open Innovation partnerships for high
value solutions in ingredient, product or technology
licensing/alliances/partnerships in academics, entrepreneurs, start-up
companies and key ingredient/process equipment manufacturers.
The candidate will provide insights on emerging
technologies, recommended investment areas, with associated risks and
opportunities for Meals& Desserts BU through monitoring the competitor
activities and the technology landscape, external vendors, acedamia, and industry
The candidate will provide technical mentorship to
developers on an as needed basis to further develop the technical talent
and depth of talent within the Meals R&D team.
The candidate will construct and negotiate
partnership agreements for all categories.

experts on a daily basis in reviewing business needs and then the
development and implementation of action plans against those needs.
The candidate will interact with direct management on
a bi- weekly and as needed basis for alignment on recommended action plans,
as well as receiving coaching on career plans.

academia, and industry on regular basis maintain awareness of future trends
and identify opportunities for delivering against business strategies.
B.S./M.S. in Food Science, Food Process Engineering,
Product Development in a CPG company (with Kraft or
other Food & Beverage Company).
Demonstrated success in the development and
commercialization of products requiring the candidate to leverage a
diversity of food science fundamentals.
Proven experience scaling up bench top formulation to
pilot plant, as well as analysis and interpretation of data to make data
based conclusions and recommendations.
Experience with NEW product development (innovation)
from concept to commercialization
