Job Description

 

The Food Safety Coordinator - Retail is responsible for maintaining client data to ensure flawless operational support. The coordinator is responsible for updating client data and maintaining accurate records. This position works closely with Strategic Account Managers, Clients and Employees. Reports to the Support Services Manager for our Food Safety Division.

Position Description

Perform the administrative functions related to all Food safety retail services including food safety audits, training seminars and consulting services

Create contract documents and secure signatures from clients when requested

Announce food safety audits and other retail services by telephone or email

Secure written confirmation of audits and maintain accurate confirmation records

Implement new clients, client locations and update data systems based on data received from client and account management personnel

Maintain and manage price increase and contract renewals

Monitor client deadlines to ensure client expectations are met

Monitor audit scores and schedule re-audits based on client deadlines

Produce and maintain Excel spreadsheets - both standard and ad hoc reporting

Position Requirements

High School Diploma/GED

A minimum of three (3) years experience in a similar administrative role

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Demonstrates the ability to multi-task and organize work to consistently meet deadlines

Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Exhibits a high degree of accuracy when entering and maintaining data in systems

Desired Skills & Experience

Some college course work, Associate' s or Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field a plus

Advanced experience with Microsoft excel a plus

Excellent customer service skills a plus
