Food Safety and Regulatory Compliance Director

Gemini Food Corporation – City of Industry, CA

Gemini Food Corporation Seeks a

Food Safety and Regulatory Compliance Director

Leading City of Industry, California Food Importer and Distributor is seeking a Food Safety and Regulatory Compliance Director

The Gemini Food Corporation is a very well established Asian food import and distribution company located in City of Industry, California. Together with our sister company located in the San Francisco Bay Area we have a sales area that covers the USA.  We are a leading company in the Asian food import industry with healthy sales, strong management and we provide a good benefit package.  We are looking for a Food Safety and Regulatory Compliance Director with extensive experience—including significant experience with the FDA and other regulatory agencies-- to achieve the quality assurance goals of the Company.

Gemini Food together with its sister corporation has successfully managed our food safety function for over 20 years without a dedicated in-house food safety specialist, but we have grown to the point where we think it’s time to add to our team. The President of our Company is knowledgeable on product issues and has worked closely together with the Operations Manager on these issues. Together they have played a strong role in building our system to date, but with their broad responsibilities it is impractical for them to continue in that role. We are planning on working with outside consultants (software, labeling, etc) to add new capabilities to our systems, but we need someone in-house to oversee and manage the process. Therefore we think it’s time to add to our in-house food safety capabilities.
