Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Preventive approach to food safety that identifies physical, allergenic, chemical, and biological hazards in production process that can cause the finished product to be unsafe, and designs measurements to reduce these risks to a safe level.

Maintain accurate records of plant operations

Ability to read and understand regulations and guidelines to design and implement food safety and quality assurance policies

Perform internal audits of plant operations and state of building and equipment

Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped;

Coordinate, scan, and email paper work daily

Attentive to main office needs/request

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
HACCP Certificate-Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point
SQF practitioner certification preferred

Other Skills and Abilities
Bilingual-Spanish and English -preferred
