Plant Sanitation Manager - Golden Temple - Eugene, OR

The proactive leader in this position will oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of our continually improving sanitation program. This will include creation of the Master Sanitation Schedule, work instructions, training documentation and compliance audits. All activities and SOPs will be built to meet the requirements of company standards, Regulatory Codes (FDA, Oregon Dept of Agriculture, etc) and best practices as set forth by auditing firms (AIB, Silliker Labs) and customer requirements.

 

The Plant Sanitation Manager is the company’s Subject Matter Expert and it’s liaison between production, engineering and management to ensure sanitary engineering principals are practiced.

 

Requirements include:

Education:

Post Secondary School Education in a Science or Mechanical field.

Experience:

  • 3+ years sanitation experience in a food production/manufacturing facility
  • 3+ years in a supervisory or management position
  • Knowledge of 21CFR- Parts 110 GMP in Manufacturing, Packing or Holding Human Food
  • HACCP, Microbiology, Sanitary Engineering Practices, Sanitation Practices, Chemical Safety, Pest Control and Quality Systems a definite asset.
