We are seeking a food safety representative for our Field Services group
to conduct inspections and audits at assigned client locations; determine
compliance with findings of inspections and audits; communicate results to
clients as well as NSF team members; and collect food, product or environmental
samples for shipment to NSF's testing facilities. Ideal candidates would live in the
Conduct retail food safety inspections/audits.
Summarize and evaluate inspection/audit findings.
Communicate findings/results of inspections/audits with client site management or appropriate client personnel.
Collect food, product or environmental samples from client sites and ship samples to appropriate laboratories for testing.
Develop effective work plans for the completion of assigned inspections/audits within a determined timeframe.
Establish and maintain effective communication with headquarter based project managers as it relates to assigned clients.
Bachelor's degree in environmental health or a related science program with laboratory coursework.
A minimum of 0 - 2 years experience with food safety.
Ability to work independently from remote location.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
Must have own reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience conducting food safety audits/inspections of retail/public food establishments.
