Dairy Foods R&D Intern
Land O 'Lakes, Inc. - Arden Hills, MN
The
Research and Development intern will support the Foodservice, Ingredient
Solutions and Retail Divisions within Land O'Lakes. The position provides an
opportunity to interact with research scientists and technologists in the
development of innovative dairy products, technologies, or packaging. Interns
will also get exposure to the Land O'Lakes pilot plant, research laboratories
and dairy manufacturing facilities.
Required (Basic) Experience & Education:
Sophomore (or higher) in an accredited Food Science, Dairy Science, Packaging
or related program required. A desire to learn and understand the role of
Research and Development in food manufacturing is preferred.
Required Competencies & Other Skills:
Strong organizational and communication skills are required. Ability to work
independently as well as in a team environment is necessary. Must be detail
oriented. The internship requires a commitment of 12 weeks.

During your 12 weeks at Land O'Lakes, Inc., you will be assigned to a project
partnering with your manager and team members to make meaningful
contributions to Land O'Lakes, Inc. During the summer, you will also have the
opportunity to network with other Land O'Lakes, Inc. interns and utilize your
school experience to drive your project to a higher level.
The Land O'Lakes, Inc. internship program has professional development events
throughout the summer. Past events include: Intern Orientation, community
