Assists with development and execution of training and consulting programs for customers, contractors, and AIB staff in Mexico and throughout Latin America.
Principal Responsibilities:

  Carry out food safety and food defense seminars (regionally and in client facilities) for customers in Mexico and other Latin countries as needed. Seminars included topics such as HACCP, GMPs, Normas 251, and Sanitation.

  Assist with development and presentation of custom training for customers and AIB field staff as required.

  Assist in the review and improvement of current seminars and in the development of new ones as required.

  Grow consulting activities in food safety and food defense.

  Assist the Strategic Account Manager and Public Seminar Coordinator in market development (training, inspections and audits), and customer retention.

  Carry out a minimum number of inspections and/or audits per year.

  Answer technical food safety questions from clients via email and/or telephone


Additional Activities:

  Assists in any activities determined pertinent by the Head, Food Safety Education Latin America

  Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate that will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity and efficiency/effectiveness

Principal Customers:
Current and potential clients in Mexico and Latin America.

 

Education: BS or MS in food safety ore related activity, Food Science or associated fields.
Training & Experience: Five years experience in related area.
Administrative Skills: Should possess skill in oral and written communications, ability to organize and prioritize projects, work independently without direct supervision, deliver training materials in formal and informal settings in a manner consistent with AIB standards. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products for development, delivery, and communication of training programs.
Physical Skills: Must be physically able to safely ascend to heights, be able to bend, crawl and move safely and freely around machinery and building without assistance. Must have eyesight or corrected eyesight to safely work around and inspect equipment, and to prepare inspection notes and reports without assistance.
Personal Skills: Must be an excellent communicator, both verbally and written; able to present seminars to large audiences; be flexible in delievering materials; self-motivated and createive thinking.
Language: Fluent in Spanish. Able to communicate orally and writing in English

Other Comments:
Requires extensive travel of relative short durations anywhere in the world and the ability to work under difficult conditions in diverse cultural and physical environments.
