Position Summary
As a Food Safety Manager, you'll be responsible for training management and
drivers in safe food transportation and handling practices, industry
standards and company policies. While working closely with new and existing
dedicated accounts, you'll develop and implement training programs and
perform facility audits to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
Responsibilities
Develop standards and procedures for safe food transportation
Consult with customers on J.B. Hunt's food safety transportation and
handling standards and procedures
Develop inspection and auditing programs to ensure high levels of
compliance
Provide technical training on food transportation and handling standards
and procedures
Qualifications/Requirements
4 year degree, preferably in Science or a related topic or
3-5 years plant food experience or
3 years experience with J.B. Hunt
Willing to travel up to 50%
Must have strong communication skills
