Affairs Job Description Our client, a food manufacturing firm, is currently searching
for a Food Safety Manger for their food manufacturing facility near
Cartersville, GA. Relocation assistance is
available Highly professional and

environment. About the position: This is a newly created position and the Food Safety Manager
will assume some duties from other departments as well as implement others
for the first time. FSM will be responsible for internal and external audits,
writing SOP’s & GMP’s with regards to Food Safety. Work with all
regulatory regulations and standards including food labeling and compliance.
Advice other departments heads and train their staff on food safety
compliance and procedures. Position requirements: 4 year degree in
a science related field, such as Biology, Chemistry, or Food Science. 5 Years of
supervisory &/or advisory roll with Food Safety in a food
processing/manufacturing environment. HACCP and Food
Safety certifications are a major plus and highly desired. Experience
writing and analyzing SOP’s and GMP’s. Experience with
both conducting and managing internal and external audits. Experience with
developing recall programs and product tracking a plus. Expereince with
food labeling and FDA regulation. To
