We are currently seeking a QC/Process Quality focused professional to take on a Key and very SENIOR role within our food/food ingredient manufacturing facility in Cambridge, MN.

In this role, you will personally manage various plant based Quality Control Managers throughout our five Operating units through weekly calls and scheduled meetings , and a bit closer to home in the "HOME PLANT" location, you will work to evaluate, understand, and improve the plants and processes.

Over time we will be looking for you to perform the following internally:
Begin implementation of group-wide statistical QC program using audit approved software.
Successfully execute 100% of all designated qualified requests for process support.
Independently provide technical support (process and/or quality improvements, cost saving initiatives) for SOI manufacturing plants.
Complete implementation of SQC at three fiber facilities.
Become recognized and established as a respected internal resource for Quality.

We are looking for professionals with the following background/Experience:
In depth knowledge of Lean manufacturing.
Strong understanding of FMA and AIB audit programs.
Excellent knowledge of Quality Control process and programs.
Working knowledge of food ingredient manufacturing with credible number of industry contacts
Experience with multiple plant production of single formula.
Manage and prioritize activities that are consistent with company objectives for Quality Control and Regulatory Compliance.

Able to react quickly and professionally to changes in work direction. Ability to think on one's feet.
Innovative approach to process development and problem solving.
Ability to manage individuals at multiple locations.
Willing to routinely travel to SOI manufacturing locations (~20-40% of time estimated)
Ability to manage several tasks concurrently while working independently. Must be self-motivated.
Ability to interact with and educate fellow employees at all levels up to plant manager
Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with employees on a multi-plant level.
