Job Description:
Ecolab, Food Retail Services is the premier supplier of cleaning and
sanitation products, programs, training and services to the food retail
industry. This full-time, professional food safety position is responsible
for conducting store inspections and generating audit reports, working with
store and quality assurance managers to develop solutions to problem areas
and training customer associates on proper food safety procedures. You will
deal directly with customers and will be responsible for servicing and
managing a territory.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop & enhance existing relationships with customers while working
independently, maintaining your own schedule
- Advise customers on quality assurance & conduct Food Safety Audits to
help maintain clean and sanitary establishments
- Provide food safety & sanitation advice, education & training
- Provide food safety audits following the FDA Food Code and applicable
state food codes, as directed by customer food safety and sanitation
guidelines
- Develop, improve and enhance relationships with customers in your
territory to promote solutions that assist customers in meeting food safety
and sanitation standards
- Utilize problem-solving & trouble-shooting skills to install &
maintain dispensing systems
- On-the-job and classroom training covers equipment maintenance, products
& sales skills training
Basic Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree or AA/AS degree with foodservice experience
- Availability for 25% of the time; 20% overnight travel
- Must possess a current Registered Environmental Health Specialist /
Registered Sanitation (RESH/RS) credential
- Consideration will be given to candidates with a BS degree in
Environmental Health Science or meet the academic requirements to be eligible
to become REHS/RS within one year
