Food
Safety Net Services is currently hiring food safety auditors for full and
part time positions recently created due to business growth. The full time
auditors are required to travel up 4-5 days per week; part time auditors
may work on a flex schedule of 3 days per week or less.
Full time
auditors receive a competitive salary and benefit package with FSNS. Part
time auditors will be paid per completed job submitted. This is a great
opportunity for a professional who wants to maintain food industry
expertise, have a limited travel schedule, and earn a good income by
conducting auditing services.
You will conduct auditing services for customers in the meat, pork, and poultry
area; as well as all areas of the food industry. Audits will include
food safety, animal welfare, regulatory, product evaluations, sanitation,
and customized audits for customers.
Our
Needs:
- BS Degree in food technology/
animal and/or meat science or related field and HACCP certification
required
- 5 years
experience in auditing / quality assurance/ production
facilities/ operational processing in the food industry
- Live near a metropolitan area
to ensure travel flexibility
- Excellent communication
skills to prepare professional reports
- Overnight travel 2-3 days per
week for part time and up to 5 for full time
- BRC,
SQF, PAACO or ISO training is VERY desirable
