This Quality Assurance position is responsible for
all aspects of food safety and quality for the products our company
manufacturers and produces, and for the continuing management and
improvement of our existing GFSI complaint food safety and quality program
(SQF or BRC).
Responsibilities include: managing our SQF program; effectively manage and
train QA staff; train production and maintenance workers in GMP's, quality
and safety; maintain current and continuing compliance, performance and
validation of all QA programming, and oversee QA staff as needed to do so.
Continue to develop programming to meet the needs of our new products,
customers and increasing global standards.
Education/ Experience: Science degree, preferably food science. 2 years
plus comparable work experience preferred. HACCP certificate. GFSI type
practitioner. Need to be a motivated, detail food safety oriented and hard working team player capable of motivating and
effectively managing others.
