Assist Team Leader in interviewing, selecting,
training, developing, and counseling PM Overnight Team Members in a manner,
which builds and sustains a high performing team, and minimizes
Perform all duties of Bakehouse Team Members, Supervisors
& Team Leaders
Consistently communicate and model Whole Foods Market
vision and goals.
Establish and maintain a positive work environment,
which sustains an exceptionally high level of Team Member morale.
Assist TL in providing timely, thorough, and
thoughtful Job Dialogues.
Direct daily operations of Bakehouse facility and
maintain highest quality, food safety and sanitation standards.
Maintain equipment cleanliness and plant safety, including
equipment maintenance, repairs, and improvements.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of, and ensure
compliance with relevant regulatory rules and standards, including: OSHA,
Department of Labor, Health and Sanitation, FDA, HAACP and USDA.
Assist and conduct regular meetings with teams.
Assist TL in creating and maintaining a team schedule
within budget requirements
Perform all other duties assigned by Team and
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Minimum of 2 years of bakery production setting or
Excellent verbal (bi-lingual Spanish a plus) and
written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to
delegate and follow through.
Knowledge of all relevant Whole Foods Market
policies, procedures, core values, business philosophy, and quality goals.
Computer literate, including basic e-mail
Strong leadership skills.
Exemplary customer service skills
The ability to lead a team and gain consensus.
The vision and ability to set and maintain top
The ability to meet deadlines and follow a time line.
The ability to plan and effectively communicate
(bi-lingual Spanish a plus).
Ability to safely perform all of the physical
requirements of the position such as repetitive bending, twisting, lifting,
pushing and pulling.
