Post Doctoral Research Associate
– Food Science and Technology – Lincoln, NE The University of Nebraska – Lincoln is seeking
qualified candidates to fill a 12-month, non-tenure leading, post doctoral research position within the department of
Food Science and Technology. The successful candidate will work as part of
The Food Processing Center Applied Research and Engineering team to develop
and conduct applied research projects in food processing and food engineering
technologies; prepare and publish results in refereed scientific journals as
well as make presentations at regional and national scientific meetings;
contribute to Food Processing Center workshops, distance education programs,
online training, and other teaching endeavors in the Food Science and
Technology Department; and assist with research proposals to secure external
funding. Interaction with industry and the scientific community where
appropriate, is expected. Requires an earned Ph.D. degree in Food Engineering,
Food Science and Technology, or closely related field. For further details
