Food Science, Adjunct Instructor – Keene, NH
The Department of Health Science/Nutrition Option
is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach a 5-credit course in food
science. The course introduces
students to physical and chemical changes in ingredients and nutrients
during food preparation and storage.
There is a lab component to the course. The position begins January 19, 2010
and ends May 9, 2010.
The class is scheduled for Monday and Wednesday
afternoons from 4:00pm-7:45pm.
Course syllabus and other materials are available. There is a
nutrition student worker available to assist with laboratory
preparation. Qualifications:
Experience in food science and a Bachelor's Degree in food and nutrition
or related field. Master's degree,
RD status, ServSafe certification/instructor eligible and teaching
experience preferred.
