Under
the direction of Food Safety Manager, the incumbent will monitor and
enforce the FDA Code regulations and sanitation practices for all food
and beverage establishments including public and employee areas for the
Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation. Bachelor's degree in public health
or related field, plus 1 to 3 years' experience in food service
inspection is required. Knowledge of FDA Code, State of Connecticut
regulations, food-borne illnesses and HACCP methods. Must possess a
valid motor vehicle driver's license and current Connecticut Food
Service Certification. Connecticut Certification as a registered
Sanitarian is desirable but not required. Certified Pool Operator (CPO)
is desirable but not required. The employee must occasionally lift
and/or move up to 50 pounds.
