Key responsibilities will include developing new products from
beginning to end. Manage projects and work directly with Production, QA and
Marketing. Work on costing, ingredient specifications, process development
and packaging. Develop both branded and private label products. Provide
technical support to develop and implement new and/or improved processes
and products. Identify, test and optimize production parameters which will
improve yields and processing efficiencies.
Meat Science, Poultry Science or Food Science. With 5 – 7 years experience
in meat or poultry product development OR MS Meat Science, Poultry Science
or Food Science with 3-5 years experience. Mexican food development
experience is a plus! Culinary experience is a plus! Must be willing to
work hands on developing the products from beginning to end. Excellent verbal
and written communication skills.
