This is a
contract position through Kelly Scientific Resources working in Greeley.
Flexibility with hours is important for this position. The pay is based on
experience in the range of $11-14 per hour.
QUALITY LAB TECHNICIAN
Position Summary: The Quality Lab Tech provides
assistance and support by conducting basic lab analysis, testing, reviews,
and understanding test documentation and goals to support field programs
and technology development efforts. This position provides support to
Production personnel and Scientists to ensure that the developed product is
in compliance with company standards, customer contract requirements, FDA
protocols, and related specifications.
Pay: $11.00 – 14.00 per hour
Requirements &
Responsibilities:

BS degree
in a scientific discipline.
·
1+ years QA lab experience, preferably in the food
industry.
·
Solid math skills.
·
Familiarity or
experience with Microbiological
and Aseptictechniques is highly desired.
·
Perform
bacteriological, physical, chemical, and other tests on raw and finished
product.
·
Responsible for daily
finished product evaluations.
·
Maintains all lab
records.
·
Helps control plant
losses.
·
Must be flexible and open to working other shifts
when required (e.g. 3rd shift)
·
Perform other
functions as directed by supervisors.
·
Organize, store, and
manage the receiving of samples.
·
Ordering/stocking lab
supplies and organizing existing supplies. Responsible for laboratory
housekeeping.
Additional Responsibilities: Qualified applicants must have strong communication skills and the
ability to effectively communicate across multiple disciplines of personnel
(Lab Techs, Lab Managers, Plant Operators, etc.). Additional duties and
special assignments as required.
