Conduct food safety/regulatory compliance audits of
processors, distributors, and packaging facilities and prepare inspection
reports for clients and audited companies. Assess facilities for adherence
to sanitation, pest control, HACCP plan guidelines, training, operational
methods and personnel practices.
Bachelor of Science degree in scientific discipline (Biology, Microbiology,
Chemistry, and Food Science) and a minimum of 5-10 years experience in the
food or beverage industry in corporate QA or plant QC role. 3-5 years
experience in food safety/quality systems auditing. Excellent written and
oral communication skills and ability to work independently are essential.
Travel is required.
