SUMMARY: This position is
responsible for reviewing, updating and approving corporate labeling
designs and works cross-functionally and communicates on matters
relating to product labeling, product specification management and
regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include: participates in
addressing regulatory issues pertaining to food labeling that arise
across all Business Units and various levels of management;
maintains a general understanding of all support systems for new
product code requests and product specification changes; completes
special projects as needed; other duties may be assigned as
Education and Experience: Minimum BS in Food Science,
Agriculture, Nutrition or related field or equivalent years of
experience and training.
Computer Skills: Intermediate computer skills with ability
to create business letters, spreadsheets, simple queries, power
point. Knowledge of PDM, BOM, SAP, Adobe Illustrator and SLAP (TLS)
is desired, but not required.
Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communications
skills with customer service attitude.
Special Skills: Position requires good business phone
etiquette; legible handwriting, filing, maintaining an organized
work area is a must; ability to work in a shared environment respectfully.
Supervisory: This position may be responsible for
supervising support staff.
