The Global Species Research & Development
Director (RDD) is responsible to serve as champion of
developing/delivering new products, services, and solutions within their
assigned specie(s). This candidate will be responsible for maintaining a
lead technology position in the industries we serve through leadership in
the efficient execution of the project portfolio in alignment with
priorities set by the Strategic Marketing and Technology Team.
Technology Offering & Portfolio
Partner with species/additive Marketing and
Technology Directors to determine people, assets and activities necessary
at the global, regional and local level to successfully execute the

the global BU strategies.
Shared accountability with the Species/Additive
Marketing Director and the Species Technology Director to monitor the
financial results of projects rolled out from the innovation pipeline.
Monitor emerging trends in science to efficiently
identify potential disruptive technologies for the species and recommend
projects to the Strategy Team leveraging these insights and maintaining
CAN in a leadership position in technology.
Develop New Products, Services &
Solutions: Portfolio Execution
Lead Species R&D Team to insure effective and
efficient development of new and novel products, services and solutions
in alignment with priorities established by the Species/Additive Teams.
Accountable to understand and, in turn, leverage
the resources/capabilities of Cargill to help advance teams in the areas
of conceptual modeling, experimental design, biological modeling, and,
ultimately, technology development.
Develop and recruit talent needed for the R&D
Team, globally and in the region. Lead the R&D specie(s) team to
align roles with needs of the business as defined by the portfolio.
Develop and maintain knowledge map for specie(s) and CAN and fill gaps in
knowledge through new hires, connections with academia and partnerships

Co-lead annual Business Technical Alignment Plan

Enabling Sciences teams.
MS Degree in Animal Nutrition or closely related
5+ years industrial or academic experience in
