is a 9-month position with partial summer teaching potential. The
successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in Meat Science
and develop other courses in their area of expertise relating to food
and meat science. The successful candidate will be expected to develop
an externally funded research program in some area of meat and /or food
science. Responsibilities will also include serving as sponsor to the
meats judging activities, supervising graduate assistant coaches and
supervision of meats lab manager.
Additional Salary Information: Commensurate with qualifications.
Ph.D. in Animal Sciences, Food Science, Meat Science, or related
discipline. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in
meat laboratory operations, demonstrated success in meats or food
science research, and meats judging activities. This position is
