As a Sample Coordinator II with in our Nutritional Chemistry and
Food Safety you will perform a variety of sample accession responsibilities
in compliance with appropriate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and
regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities and Opportunities:
Perform any combination of sample
accession tasks, including opening, entering, tracking, labeling, shipping
and review.
Review sample inventory against samples
to ensure accuracy.
Communicate discrepancies to appropriate
personnel.
Solve problems independently, contacting
internal or external clients for clarification as needed.
Communicate confirmation of sample
receipt to clients, if appropriate.
Handle internal and external customer
inquiries and requests.
Distribute sample information and
paperwork.
Responsible for entry and accuracy of
sample tracking systems.
Introduce and independently develop
improvement ideas for the group.
Works with the customer service
coordinators to establish customer service procedures, as appropriate.
Assist in training new employees, working
with and directing less experienced staff, and prioritizing workloads
and/or special projects on a daily basis.
Take action for the department when
additional responsibilities and opportunities are presented.
