profitable enterprise. As a Food Safety Advisor with JBT FoodTech, you will assist the Food Safety Sales Account
Manager to promote, develop, and manage all Food Safety Solutions (FSS)
programs with domestic and international fresh-cut processors, and
growers/shippers. You will also serve as the primary point of contact
across business units for the assigned clients and serve as a risk
management solution provider to all customers. Additional
responsibilities include:
- Work with the FSS team to
develop, document and maintain each client’s food safety audit program
infrastructure (audit tools, expectation manuals, reports, etc.) in
accordance with customer specifications and applicable laws and
regulations.
- Conduct food safety and
quality evaluations, create programs needed, and implement these
programs in the clients’ atmosphere.
- Provide client
consultation/advisory services by providing effective communication
and contact with the clients regarding all JBT service areas.
- Proactively manage and audit
food safety programs for assigned customers and provide trend
analyses.
- Provide direct supervision
and training for other FSS Advisors.
- Provide input to FSS staff to
assist in the team’s development of FSS DataPort
system that collects, organizes, and stores data primarily focused on
food safety.
- Attend produce industry
trades shows, meetings, and conferences; network and gain an
understanding of current food safety issues facing perspective and
current clients.
REQUIREMENTS Mandatory:
- Five (5) years related work
experience in field auditing or equivalent with excellent customer
service.
- Excellent understanding of
the principles of food safety as applied to warehouse operations
