We are looking for individuals who have background experience in HACCP, GMA-Safe, SQF and BRC. You will be able to operate out of your own residence and will be well compensated. FOOD SAFETY CONSULTANT
Job Description:

 

As a Food Safety Consultant you will be required to conduct third party audits and associated training. Educate plant personnel in correct procedures that affect Quality and food safety. Develop and implement Quality/food safety and food security operating policies. Ensure all GMP and Food Safety Standards are in compliance; USDA, FDA, HACCP, SOP’s, SSOP’s, etc.. Work with customers and maintain good working relationships. Prepare product documentation and evaluation reports and conduct on-site plant inspections.

 
Requirements:
1. Well developed written and verbal communication skills.

2. Organized professional.
3. Ability to analyze and resolve problems.
4. Ability to direct, coach and train employees.
5. Bachelors’ degree in Food Science or related field preferred.
6. 3-4 year’s working knowledge and experience in the Food Industry.
7. Team Player.
8. Strong Computer Skills necessary (MS-Office).
9. Ability to take direction and work on your own.
10. Microbiology background a plus.
11. Travel required.
12. Certified Quality Auditor a plus.
13. HACCP certification a plus!!!!

14. GMA-Safe Certified a plus!!!!

15. SQF Certified Auditor/Consultant a plus!!!!

16. BRC Certified Auditor/Consultant a plus!!!!

17. Quality Systems and Food Safety Background a must.
