Assist in the preparation of finished samples, reconstituting
and plating for product demonstration and presentations.
Work in conjunction with the Quality Control team in
review of production material for the determination of release or
Continue learning ingredient functionality through
supplier meetings, participation in supplier presentations, Newly Weds
Foods in-house training programs, and actively engaging in off-site
seminars and education initiatives.
Maintain accurate project/product files and data.
Support Sr. Product Development Scientists with formula
and specification entry in AS400.
Read, analyze and interpret food-industry periodicals,
professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
Write reports, business correspondence, procedure
manuals and possess the ability to present information and respond to
questions from the organization’s internal and external customers.
50%-60% Travel may be required.
Perform other duties or special projects as needed.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science,
Nutrition, Biology or Chemistry. Two to Five years
experience Strong communication, interpersonal skills and general
knowledge in Adobe applications, MS Office, AS400 and Lotus Notes.
